CMG’s Story

 

Cox Media Group is an integrated broadcast, publishing, direct marketing and digital media company based in Atlanta, Georgia. The core of their business consists of ten television stations, 50+ radio stations and four metro newspapers, reaching more than 30 million viewers in 12 markets.


They were looking to reach audiences who were moving from traditional broadcast television to watching video on connected devices. They wanted to have the same player across all delivery content platforms for both live and video-on-demand.

Solution

 

Anvato’s Media Content Platform (MCP) enables ingestion of video content via multiple channels, including FTP, MRSS etc, and clips are be cut and saved to Anvato Media Content Platform and/or to the cloud. Stream and clip syndication to web and other properties are based on CMG’s custom business logic, and on the fly, multi-bit rate adaptive streams are delivered to all screen sizes.
